A Note on Keyword Articles

Lets take a moment and talk about keyword articles. This is a very important concept and one to keep in mind the entire time you are writing web content articles. There is even a field at the bottom of the Sneakin Design submission forms labeled KEYWORDS.

These articles you all are writing need to be keyword specific so search engines can find them. Again, even if you write the most perfect poker article ever written, if no one can find it on the web, it is useless to our clients.

So when writing think about what you are writing about. But not thinking as a writer, try to think about the casual Internet browser and how they would find your article.

For example, if I wrote an article on bluffing in poker, how would a web browser find me? They would open Google and type in some search words. These search words should be your keywords in your articles. As I write my article I should constantly be thinking I am trying to get all poker players on the Internet to my article to read what I wrote about bluffing.

Therefore I would use keywords like “Poker bluffing” “Texas Hold’em” “Freeroll tournaments” “Online poker” “virtual casinos”

Phrases like that which an Internet user would search on to look for my article.

So we should be packing our articles full of these keywords to drive traffic to the site we are writing for. The entire purpose of our articles in the first place!

The trick is to of course make it all sound natural and not just keywords after keywords.

For example you do NOT want to write something like “Internet poker in Internet Casinos are for Virtual Gamblers who like Internet Gambling and Poker tournaments Online.”

That just looks forced and Google and other search engines will actually penalize a site for too heavy of keyword usage.

Your main keyword in your article should not be used more than 3 to 5 percent . That’s it. Any more and you are risking spamming. That is the death sentence to a web site. So keep it between 3% and 5% and in the natural flow of your articles and it will be perfect.
